The programme reflects SEGi University's continued commitment to cultivating digital responsibility, media literacy, and emotional resilience among Malaysian youth.

PGDM Chairman, Datin Seri Dr. Harnie Mohamed, extended her appreciation to SEGi University for leading an initiative that aligns strongly with PGDM's mission to support youth digital empowerment across Malaysia.
EVENT VIPS IN ATTENDANCE
The event was graced by several university leaders and national stakeholders, including :
- Vice Chancellor, SEGi University
- Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), SEGi University
- Head of School, Faculty of Communication and Creative Design
- Scouts Leadership Representatives
- Representatives from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commision (MCMC)
PGDM expressed its gratitude for being recognised alongside these respected partners who share a common purpose in strengthening youth digital awareness.
EMPOWERING YOUTH THROUGH UNDERSTANDING & DIGITAL IDENTITY

In her 30-minute address, Anne highlighted the challenges faced by today's youth- including social comparison, digital pressure, misinformation, and identity struggles in an online world that moves rapidly.
She reminded students of the long-term impact of their online choices, stating:
"Think before post-because your social media today becomes your identity tomorrow, and your future LinkedIn."
This statement reinforced the importance of building a positive digital footprint and being intentional with content shared online.
PGDM'S COMMITMENT TO YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
PGDM reaffirmed its dediation to nurturing safe and confident digital citizens through its ongoing initiatives:
Asian Pop Stars (APS)
A regional creative empowerment programme that trains youth in confidence, digital responsibility, and on line safety. APS Season 1 will premiere on RTM TV2 in 2026.
Digital Literacy for All
A national movement that equis youth with the tools to navigate digital risks, manage online behaviour, and think critically before engaging online.
University Collaborations & Internships
PGDM works closely with higher education institutions across Malaysia to provide real-world experience in digital campaigns, content creation, event management, and communication strategy.
A MESSAGE TO YOUTH: YOUR DIGITAL FOOTPRINT MATTERS
PGDM encouraged young Malaysians to be mindful of their digital identity and to recognise that every online action contributes to their future opportunities. Your were reminded to prioritise authenticity, emotional well-being, and informed decision-masking in all online interactions.
